Our First Exotic Item Is Hiding on Lowlight.

Items are never sold. You earn them, you collect them, sometimes you get lucky. From 6 PM PT on Friday, October 23, there's one you have to hunt for.

The Hallowlight is the first exotic item on Lowlight , and for 13 nights it's hiding in the conversations you have here. The Hallowlight Haunt begins Friday, October 23 at 6 PM PT and runs until November 4, on web and iPhone. After that, the Hallowlight can never be found again.

What it is

Exotic , the rarest kind of item on Lowlight. Nobody has had one before.

A decoration for your collection: a black and gold gothic lantern with a glowing jack-o'-lantern inside.

One per person, yours for good. It can't be traded, sold or reforged.

Only during the Haunt. After November 4 it can never be found again.

Three ways to find it

Talk to people. Every comment or reply on someone else's post, every DM and every message in a server has a small chance of turning it up.

Keep at it. Have 30 conversations during the Haunt and the Hallowlight is guaranteed from Halloween night. Reach 30 after Halloween and it's yours the moment you do.

Bring friends. If three friends join Lowlight with your invite link during the Haunt and come back on a second day, it's yours right away.

Halloween night bonus. On October 31, every conversation's chance of turning up the Hallowlight triples.

What counts

Each person, conversation or server counts once a day , and up to 10 count each day. Talking with lots of people beats spamming one.

Comments on your own posts, likes and follows don't count.

Your account needs to be at least 3 days old.

When you find it

You'll get a notification. Tap it to reveal your Hallowlight; it's already in your vault.

Hunting tips

Spread it out. A new person each time, every day, gets you more chances and gets you to 30 faster.

Reply to clips you like. A comment on someone else's post counts, and they'll probably reply.

Say hi in a server. Each server you chat in counts once a day.

Invite your crew. Three friends who stick around is the quickest sure way to get it.
